Trifle Creative have a philosophy to workplace design, "Make work life better*" a philosophy shared by Workspace group who specialise in building shared offices that offer Businesses "space to grow".

Finally offices that staff cant wait to visit! This is what the future of workspace needs and we hope to see many more of these office spaces being created in the UK. The project combines our Terrazo 9  tiles in 600x600x20mm, finished in an R80 finish which refers to the level of revolutions applied to the surface of the terrazzo tiles to ensure a safer slip resistant surface, reducing the risk of slips and trips in the workplace, a key element considered by the trifle design team to ensure not only does the workspace look amazing but protects both client and staff from potential unnecessary hazards.

This project features 300m2 of our tiles throughout the office space, offering continuity between transactions,  Attention to detail was a key focus by  the flooring installers W B Simpson who worked closely with Trifle to discuss natural break points in the underlying screed that was followed through to the surface in silicon joints that colour matched the grout used between the tiles, giving a seamless finish and ensuring the quality of the floor for the longevity of the build.

This project is an example of what can be achieved when supplier, designer, client and installer work together to achieve the very best details, we love the rich deep pastel tones and bold colours used to bring contrast and depth to the more muted terrazzo floor space, by creating juxtaposition between materials and colour pallets designers are able to emphasis areas, details and spaces you would normally not notice... well we will be noticing these spaces when in the office wouldn't you agree?

Did you know? Research shows that a well-designed office space can increase an employees productivity by up to 20%. Office furnishings and layout can play an important part in boosting productivity, so not only do staff benefit from a better space to work but so do businesses that invest in the office.
