Real natural terrazzo tiles are hand made in Italy, combining marble chips with concrete and pressing into a block, the Terrazzo is then cut into tiles or slabs and polished for a smooth finish, These Terrazzo tiles use waste off cuts from the production of marble tiles, combined with recycled concrete to offer a natural terrazzo that is sustainable and unique, Our real Natural Terrazzo tiles come in 45 colours and every floor is bespoke to the owner, a great way to achieve a unique natural floor at a fraction of the cost.

Is terrazzo slippy? We offer PTV36+ Rated Terrazzo effect tiles, as well as the option to use R80 honed finish in the real terrazzo as well, Find out more about slip ratings.

Where can I use terrazzo? Given the variety of colours and styles Terrazzo can be used in all areas, we recommend porcelain versions for external areas for frost resistance but other than this its down to personal style and preference, Terrazzo can be a really personal way to add a unique style to your space.

Do I need to seal terrazzo and how do i install it? Yes, we recommend sealing Natural Terrazzo with Fila MP90 Eco plus to ensure your floor is protected from stains and spills. You can find out more on how to install and care for your floor here.

What thickness should terrazzo tiles be? Natural Terrazzo tiles need to be a minimum of 20mm thickness so bare this in mind when planning your build up depths, wanting larger sizes anything over 600x600mm we recommended increasing the thickness to 30mm, Sizes and thicknesses available can be found at the bottom of the page.

Can i use terrazzo externally? Unfortunately we don't recommend real terrazzo externally as its not frost proof, however if your feeling terrazzo inspired check out some of our porcelain terrazzo effect ranges which are suitable for external application.
